12th ANNUAL CARIBBEAN HEALTH SUMMIT TO OFFER MORE FREE MAMMOGRAMS!

ORLANDO, Fla. – July 25, 2014– The Center for Multicultural Wellness and Prevention Inc. (CMWP) in collaboration with the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce of Florida Inc., the Greater Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Orlando, Florida Department of Health in Orange County and Florida Hospital will host the 12th Annual Caribbean Health Summit. This free community event will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 8:00am to 2:30pm at the Central Florida Fair & Exposition Park (Fairgrounds), located at 4603 West Colonial Drive, Orlando.

The theme of this year’s event “Hope for Healing” emphasizes healing of the mind, body, and spirit. At this year’s summit, health experts will share important strategies to prevent illness, improve wellness and quality of life. The summit will offer mammogram screening on Friday, September 5th and on Saturday, September 6th by appointment only. To schedule a free mammogram screening, please call (407) 648-9440 ext. 14. This family fun event will also include a Kid’s Corner and activities for adults of any age including Zumba.
