Executive Director, Healthy Start Coalition of Orange County, Inc. Working with families to provide a system of care for maternal and child health -including intake and referral services. This system has expanded to be inclusive and engaging of the fathers as well; utilizing Team Dad to assist fathers in the journey of parenthood. Thelisha believes that the assistance we provide today will have
long – lasting effects for generations to come. Thelisha has been with Healthy Start Coalitions since 2014. Ms. Thomas started in Seminole and in a unified community effort, the Coalition was recognized as a 501c3 in 2014; assuming responsibility for all contracts in 2015. She transitioned to Orange County I 2021. Her experience and educational background reflect a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Barry University – Miami and over 20 years of viable experience.
