Financial Literacy

The W.O.K.E (Wisdom, Opportunity, Knowledge, and Empowerment) Project, funded by the Miami-Dade County Health Department implements a Financial Literacy Program for middle and high school students. Through collaborative efforts with community partners and events, the project provides free financial literacy interactive workshops, and simulation studies aiming to fill existing knowledge gaps and empower students to manage financial resources effectively for lifelong well-being. The overarching goal is to positively impact the community’s youth, bridging socio-economic gaps in Miami-Dade County and promoting a more inclusive society.
