MonkeyPox

The Mpox project is designed to tackle the alarming prevalence of Mpox cases, especially within vulnerable populations like gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM), transgender individuals, nonbinary and gender-diverse persons, racial and ethnic minority groups, and immunocompromised individuals, including those with advanced or newly diagnosed HIV infection. The primary objective is to heighten awareness and promote Mpox vaccination in these high-risk communities. The emphasis lies in broadening initiatives to offer vaccination opportunities, employing strategies such as extensive promotion of community events, collaboration with influential community figures as messengers, and establishing partnerships with a greater number of providers to improve accessibility in communities that have previously encountered difficulties.
